We partner with One Tree Planted to plant a tree for each Legacy Couple.

One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation. We donate one tree to be planted for every couple married at Legacy Hill Farm! Additionally, through our annual investments with One Tree Planted, we have a certified estimate of capturing 50 Tonnes of CO2 every year to compensate for the emissions impact of the size of our company based on our full-time equivalent employees.

How You Can Partner With Us to Host a Sustainable Wedding or Event

  • Avoid the use of straws, paper napkins, or plastic cutlery.

  • Use Apples 2 Apples catering — our local, organic and farm-to-table catering partner.

  • Ensure that all materials used by your florist are reusable or compostable.

  • Recycle all applicable materials on-site, per our requirements.

  • Avoid single-use plastic. Choose reusable or compostable options for dishware and glassware.

  • Avoid printed programs.

  • Opt for a menu sign in lieu of printed menus.

  • Rent your decor, like the furniture & table decor offered at Hello Wildflower.
